keep raw milk flowing in north carolina

The 2025 farm bill is seeking to repeal the legal sale of raw milk. Now is the time to stand up and tell our elected officials that we stand with raw milk and food freedom! Email and call your representatives and tell them you support safe, healthy and nutritious raw milk.

SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE MEETING UPDATE-

While we were able to protect Herdshares, Raw Pet Milk is now on the chopping block. The next big step will be to contact the Representatives in the House Agricultural Committee to let them know you support Raw Pet Milk!

Here’s how you can help:

Please email and call our state representatives responsible for this bill to express your support for keeping raw milk legal in North Carolina. Let them know:

  • Why raw milk is important to you and your family.

  • That banning raw milk threatens small farms and consumer choice.

  • You support policies that protect food sovereignty and local agriculture.

We’ve drafted a template you can use to email them.

Dear [Representative],
I’m a proud supporter of raw milk and the small farms that provide it. I urge you to oppose the proposed raw milk ban in the 2025 Farm Act. Raw milk is a safe, wholesome food that supports my health and local farmers. Banning it would harm our food sovereignty and the livelihoods of family farms. Please fight to keep raw milk legal in North Carolina.
Sincerely, [Your Name]
